About the Principal Researcher

Daniel Kitrosser

Daniel Kitrosser has nearly two decades of experience conducting research for clients in both the public and private sectors. His portfolio includes custom market research projects, qualitative case studies, and applied social science research in the broad areas of homelessness and housing, child welfare, mental health, and workforce development. He specializes in qualitative research methods, collection and analysis of administrative or secondary data, and survey research. Earlier in his career, Daniel served as a project lead on multiple market-sizing and trend analysis studies for companies in the private sector, and as the deputy project director on several large random assignment impact evaluations for the US Departments of Health and Human Services, Housing and Urban Development, and Labor. More recently, he has partnered with nonprofit organizations to evaluate programs, understand participant experiences, and develop evidence that strengthens both organizational learning and fundraising. His work helps organizations move beyond isolated success stories by generating credible, research-based insight that demonstrates how programs create meaningful change. Daniel holds a bachelor’s degree in social psychology from The University of Delaware and a master’s degree in social work from The University of Pennsylvania.
